Characteristics of Newton Cliffs and Summerland Cliffs
Landscape
Newton Cliffs and Summerland Cliffs are areas of common land situated between Langland Bay and Caswell Bay. There is a pleasant cliffside walk through the site linking the two bays.
Langland Bay Golf Course is adjacent to the site.
Wildlife
The limestone cliffs in this area are of both geological and wildlife interest.
Rare plants such as hoary rockrose and juniper exist within this calcareous grassland, itself a rare habitat within the UK.
